One of the features of Google Search is to highlight the most important event of the day and modify the Google Logo to match the same. We have seen colorful Google Logo on New Year Day or on Christmas and also Google written in Morse code on Samuel F. B. Morse's birthday. It is always a treat to the eyes seeing different Logos from Google.
Today, when I visited http://www.google.co.in/ for my regular searches, I was amazed to see a picture of a bearded man in blue. The picture is shown in this post. I hovered my mouse and it told that it’s Rabindranath Tagore’s Birthday today. I was shocked to see that! Rabindranath Tagore was born on 25th day of the first month, called Baishakh in the Bengali Calendar. At times the day coincides with May 8th. However, this year the date falls on May 9, 2009 which is Saturday and definitely not today! I do not know how to tell Google about this. However, I wanted to share this unintentional flaw with all my readers. Hope someone tells this to Google through proper channel.
